A statement from the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Beirut urged citizens of the Kingdom to leave Lebanon immediately.
The statement also emphasized the importance of complying with the decision banning Saudi Arabians from traveling to Lebanon. It also warned Saudi Arabian citizens to stay away from areas in Lebanon where violent clashes are taking place.
Violent clashes have been taking place in Lebanon since July 29th. Ain al-Helwa, the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, has been rocked by clashes between Palestinian armed groups, including the Fatah movement.
So far, 12 people have been killed and more than 60 wounded in the clashes, in which ceasefire attempts have failed.
