Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet soon with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
"There is an understanding that Erdogan and Putin will meet soon," Peskov said.
During the meeting, the two leaders will discuss the grain corridor agreement, which is of great interest to the whole world and has been terminated by Russia in recent weeks. Erdogan and Putin will also discuss bilateral relations as well as global and regional issues.
President Erdogan had recently responded to the questions of journalists on the plane returning from Hungary.
"In September, there is a G-20 meeting in India and the United Nations General Assembly in the United States of America (USA). If we find the opportunity within this intensity, we will meet face-to-face with Mr Putin and talk. Soon my Foreign Minister may make a trip to Russia. Because it is of great importance that this work is face to face and it will be much more accurate to get the result in this way,” President Erdogan said.
