Palestinian youth sent "balloons" from the Gaza Strip border to the Israeli territories.
Israel has been blockading the Gaza Strip, where approximately 2 million Palestinians live, by land, sea, and air since 2006. Protesting the 17-year-long Israeli blockade, Palestinian youth released balloons into the sky.
"We are the children of Palestine. We are being persecuted in our own land" and "Why don't you see our wounds and tears?" Palestinian youth said.
In the past, Israel Prime Minister Naftali Bennetthad pushed former Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take a tougher stance against Hamas and the launching of balloons, saying the Israeli military should respond to them in the same way as it responds to rockets directed at Israeli communities.
