Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will hold a pre-scheduled meeting in Spain next month, Yerevan said.
The Armenian Security Council announced that French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and European Union (EU) chief Charles Michel will attend the talks in Grenada on October 5.
According to Armenpress, Armenia's official news agency, based on the Armenian Security Council General Secretariat, the meeting between Hajiyev and Grigoryan in Brussels on September 26 will be attended by the advisors of French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and European Union Council President Charles Michel.
During the meeting, preparations for the meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian in Granada, Spain on October 5 will be discussed.
Aliyev, Pashinian, and Michel met in a trilateral meeting in Brussels on May 14 and held a five-way meeting with the participation of French President Macron and German Chancellor Scholz at the European Political Community (EPC) Summit in Moldova on June 1.
On September 19, the Azerbaijani army launched an anti-terrorist operation to restore constitutional order in Karabakh.
The illegal Armenian armed forces in Karabakh laid down their arms after the operation, which lasted about 24 hours.
It was claimed from some Armenian social media accounts that the civilian population was put under pressure after the operation.
