Azerbaijan Health Ministry announced the number of soldiers martyred in the 24-hour anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh. The ministry announced that 192 soldiers were martyred and 511 personnel were wounded in the operation that started on September 19, 2023.

Azerbaijan HealthMinistry shared the number of soldiers martyred during the anti-terrorist operation. The ministry announced that 192 soldiers were martyred and 511 personnel were injured during the 24-hour operation.

"In the course of local anti-terrorist measures, 192 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan were martyred. 180 of the martyred soldiers are members of the Ministry of National Defence and 12 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. One of the martyrs is a civilian," Azerbaijan Health Ministry announced.

While the identities of 180 martyred soldiers were shared, the identities of 11 soldiers will be determined after the genetic examination to be carried out by forensic medicine experts. In the statement, it was stated that 1 civilian died and 1 civilian was injured as a result of the fire of the Armenian army during the operation.
