Obama discusses Israel-Palestine peace talks with Netanyahu

US President Barack Obama discussed peace talks between Israel and Palestine with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday. White House stated that in the scope of regular consultation meeting, Obama held a phone call with Netanyahu. Both leaders covered the latest developments and regional topics from Egypt, Iran and Syria. Obama urged Netanyahu to resume peace talks with Palestinians a White House statement said and explained, "The President encouraged Prime Minister Netanyahu to continue to work with US Secretary of State John Kerry to resume negotiations with the Palestinians as soon as possible."
