Belgian team KAA Gent lit up the stadium with the Turkish flag in order to support the earthquake in Türkiye. In the statement made by the club, expressing their sadness, the Ghelamco Arena will be illuminated with the flags of Türkiye and Syria for two days.

One of the Belgian Pro League teams, KAA Gent lit up the stadium with the flags of the two countries after the earthquakes affecting Syria and 10 provinces centered in Türkiye. The stadium was dressed in the colors of the flags for support.

In a statement from the club, "Türkiye and Syria were shaken by a devastating earthquake. The prayers of the entire Gent family are with those living in the earthquake affected area." expressions were used.

It was stated that the flags of two countries were projected on the exterior of the Ghelamco Arena, which has a capacity of 20 thousand people, where the club plays its matches. They lit up the stadium in order to show solidarity with those living in the areas affected by the earthquake and to commemorate those who lost their lives.
