After the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes that occurred on February 6 in Türkiye, football player Christian Atsu, who played in Hatayspor, was left under the debris in the earthquake.
His agent was saying that Atsu, who had played for Chelasea and Newcastle, had yet to be found.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well wishers that sadly Christian Atsu's body was recovered this morning," his agent Nana Sechere tweeted on Saturday.
“My deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers and support,” he confirmed Atsu's death.
