Sultans of the Net made history defeating China 3-1 in a breathtaking match in the final of the FIVB Nations League. The National Women's Volleyball Team became the champion.
Starting the match with a 3-0 series with the effective serves of Ebrar Karakurt, the national team continued its effective play at the beginning of the set and maintained a 3-point (8-11) lead. After a timeout by Chinese head coach Cai Bin, the Asian team increased its offensive efficiency and closed the gap to lead by one point (13-12). While both countries exchanged points until the middle of the set, the national team took the lead 19-16 with a 4-point series caught on Derya Cebecioğlu's service run and completed the first set 25-22 ahead, which was competitive until the last moment.

China started the fourth set well and led by 3 points (6-3) early in the set. The national team closed the gap with Vargas and tied the score at 6-6. The national team increased the difference to 5 points (7-12) in the middle of the set with Zehra Günes's blocks and Vargas and Ebrar Karakurt's offensive points. Continuing to play effectively until the end of the set, the national team won the fourth set 25-16 and the match 3-1, becoming the champion for the first time in the history of the organization.
Poland and the USA met in the bronze medal match in the League of Nations. Poland defeated its opponent 3-2 with sets of 25-15, 16-25, 16-25, 25-19, 18-25 and 17-15 and won the bronze medal. Poland succeeded in winning a medal for the first time in the history of the organization.
