Turkish national swimmer Sumeyye Boyaci won a bronze medal in the women's 50-meter backstroke category at the Paralympic Swimming World Championships in England.
According to the statement made by the Turkish National Paralympic Committee, Sumeyye managed to come third in the women's 50-meter backstroke S5 category with a time of 43.32.
The Turkish national swimmer, who qualified for the bronze medal, qualified for the Paralympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024 with her success in the championship.
In addition, another national swimmer Sevilay Ozturk, who competed in the same category at the championships, ranked fifth in the world with a time of 44.11.
