Turkish national athlete Hayrıye Turksoy Dincer won a medal by being among the top three athletes in the Wushu branch at the FISU World University Games held in China.

Dincer both evaluated the organization and shared her feelings after the competition.

"I'm proud. I tried to do my best. I am honored to be a part of such a big organization,” she said.

“With the unifying power of sports, we had unforgettable memories with the athletes of other countries who shed the same sweat as us. I lost to the gold medalist in this championship by only a few points and finished the tournament in 3rd place. Now it's time to continue training in the best way when I return to my country. My heartfelt congratulations to my champion, Indonesia," Dincer  added.

The FISU World University Games are held every four years from July 28 to August 8 in China.
