Critical day for Turkish football teams in UEFA European Conference League
Turkish football teams Adana Demirspor, Fenerbahce, and Besiktas will play their UEFA European Conference League 3rd qualifying round rematches tonight. If three Turkish representatives advance to the play-off round after Galatasaray, there will be four teams in Europe.
Türkiye's representatives in the UEFA European Conference League, Adana Demirspor, Fenerbahce, and Besiktas will play their third qualifying round rematches tonight. If the Turkish representatives, who gained a big advantage by winning their first matches, manage to eliminate their opponents, they will continue their unbeaten run in Europe.
If Adana Demirspor, Fenerbahce, and Besiktas also advance to the play-offs, following Galatasaray's Champions League qualification, Türkiye will have secured its tenth place in the country rankings.
In the evening's matches, Adana Demirspor will play with Osijek, Besiktas will play with Neftchi Baku, and Fenerbahce will play with Maribor.
If Fenerbahce qualifies, they will play the winner of Riga-Twente (0-2) in the play-off. Twente won the first match 2-0 at home. Beşiktaş will play the winner of Dynamo Kyiv-Aris (0-1). Aris won the first match 1-0. Adana Demirspor will meet the winner of Genk-Olympiakos (0-1). Olympiakos won the first match 1-0 and gained an advantage for the round. Play-off round matches in the UEFA European Conference League will be played on August 24-31.
