The Turkish National Women’s Volleyball Team aka "Sultans of Net", who won the gold medal by defeating China in the final of the FIVB Nations League in Arlington, Texas, USA, succeeded in taking Türkiye to the first step in the ranking of countries for the first time in the history of volleyball. Now, they will participate in CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship 2023.
In the organization, which was organized for the first time in 2018 as the League of Nations, Türkiye ranked second in the first year, fourth in 2019 and 2022, and third in 2021.

Italian head coach Daniele Santarelli, who was announced as the head of the A National Women's Volleyball Team on December 27, 2022, made his debut with the South Korea match played in the first week of the FIVB Nations League in Türkiye’s Antalya.
