‘Sultans of Net’ beat Peru 3-1 on their way to Paris
Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team won in the third match of the 2024 Paris Olympic Qualifiers. Sultans of the Net defeated Peru 3-1 in the match played in Japan.
Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team aka "Sultans of the Net" beat Peru 3-1 in the 3rd match of the 2024 Paris Olympic Qualifiers. The national team started the match well and finished the first set 25-18 ahead. Turkish national team, which was defeated 27-25 in the second set of the match, won the third set 25-17 and took the lead in the sets again.
The national team won the fourth set 29-27 and defeated its opponent 3-1.
Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team managed to defeat Puerto Rico and Bulgaria 3-0 in the first two matches of the Olympic qualifiers.
European and Nations League champions, world number 1 "Sultans of the Net" are in Group B together with hosts Japan, ranked 7th in the world rankings, 5th Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico, Argentina, and Peru.
The countries ranked "top 2" in their groups in the qualifiers will win a quota for the Paris Olympic Games.
