In a historic victory, the Turkish Women's National Deaf Football Team secured their spot in the finals of the 4th World Deaf Football Championships by defeating Poland 2-1.

Competing in the 4th World Deaf Football Championships, the Turkish Deaf Women's National Teamreached the final by defeating Poland 2-1. Deaf Women's National Team reached the final for the first time in this tournament.

Türkiye and Poland met at the UITM Stadium in the semi-finals of the event hosted by Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur.

After a goalless first half, the Turkish team defeated their opponent 2-1 with Ecrin Köse in the 73rd minute and Özlem Aktas in the 82nd minute and reached the final for the first time in this tournament.

Türkiye will meet the winner of the United States-England semi-final match in the final on Friday, October 6, 2023.
