UEFA has announced that no matches will be played in Israel until further notice due to the ongoing war.

The UEFA Executive Committee has decided that no UEFA matches will be played in Israel until further notice.

Following a comprehensive assessment of the current safety and security situation in the entire territory of Israel, the UEFA Executive Committee has decided that no UEFA matches will be played in Israel until further notice.

Israeli clubs Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel-Aviv have also been requested to propose stadiums for home competitions outside their home territories that comply with all applicable UEFA regulations.

Furthermore, the UEFA Europa League Group F match between Villarreal and Maccabi Haifa, which was scheduled to be played on Thursday, October 26, has been postponed to Wednesday, December 6, and the UEFA Europa Conference League Group B match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Zorya Luhansk, which was previously announced to be played on Thursday, October 26, has been postponed to Saturday, November 26.

In addition, Maccabi Haifa Youth Team withdrew from the UEFA Youth League due to the current situation.

WHAT HAPPENED
