After their impressive 3-0 win over Braga in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti faced inquiries about Arda Guler during the post-match press conference.
"We're closely monitoring him. (He is) coming back from two significant injuries, he's been participating in all team practices for about a week. When Arda reaches 100 percent, he'll get playing time," Ancelotti explained.
Marca newspaper, which has recently attracted attention with its unusually high coverage of Guler, immediately launched a poll on its website at the end of the match with the question "What do you think about Arda not playing?"
Meanwhile, the Spanish press criticized Ancelotti's decision not to give Guler a chance despite having a 3-0 lead in the 61st minute and having five substitutions.
