Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian team featuring Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly being considered for entry into the UEFA Champions League.
According to reports from Abu Dhabi Sports, there are rumors that UEFA may extend an invitation to Al-Nassr, where Talisca and Ronaldo are currently playing, for the upcoming Champions League season.
It is learned that this possibility is likely to be realized due to the star players who left European football for the Saudi Arabian League in the last year.
UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin had previously stated that Saudi Arabian teams would not take part in the Champions League.
"It is rumored that Saudi Arabia would love to host the Champions League final, but I always find out through an intermediary. Nobody has offered me anything. The Champions League will take place in Europe and will feature teams from UEFA member countries," Ceferin said.
