Atletico's last-gasp goal earns1-1 draw with Real

In a thrilling La Liga encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu, city rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid played to a dramatic 1-1 draw. 

Atletico's Marcos Llorente scored deep into stoppage time to cancel out Brahim Diaz's first-half opener for Real Madrid.

The draw left Real Madrid and Girona tied at the top of the La Liga table with 58 points each, setting the stage for a closely contested title race. 

Real Madrid's manager, Carlo Ancelotti, expressed satisfaction with his team's performance, noting that they controlled the game but were unfortunate to concede a goal in the last minute.

Real Madrid and Girona remained level on points at the league's summit, creating an intense battle for the top spot. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid sits fourth with 48 points, trailing behind Barcelona in third.
