Phil Foden's hat trick seals Manchester City's win against Brentford

Phil Foden's exceptional performance in Manchester City's 3-1 victory over Brentford secured a crucial win for his team and set a new Premier League record for the most goals in a game on Monday.

Foden achieved a superb hat trick, displaying his scoring prowess on both sides of half-time, ensuring City's comeback against Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium.

This remarkable feat propelled the total number of goals in the Premier League game week to 45, surpassing the previous record of 44 set in September 2020 and equaled in May 2023.

This achievement is even more incredible because Foden was also part of the game that set the 44-goal record in 2020, where he netted City's opener in their 3-1 away win against Wolves.
