American Gordon Moore, founder of chip maker technology giant Intel, has died at the age of 94. Moore, who played an important role in helping today's computers reach the level of performance, was born in 1929. In a statement from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation it is noted that Gordon Moore, one of the giants of Silicon Valley and co-founder of Intel, died peacefully with his family at his home in Hawaii.
