Elon Musk, who bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars last year and talked about the changes he made, announced that he will hand over the CEO seat today.

Famous businessman and owner of social media giant Twitter, Elon Musk, was on the agenda with the radical decisions he took within the company. After taking the CEO seat, Musk, who dismissed many employees and started a paid subscription application on Twitter, drew reactions with these initiatives.

HANDING OVER THE SEAT

Elon Musk, who does not listen to criticism and has been the manager of Twitter, which he has owned since April 22, 2022, announced that he will hand over the CEO seat of Twitter and Twitter's umbrella company X, in a post he made on his own account today.

Announcing his new position, Musk stated that he will become the chief executive officer and CTO overseeing the company's product, software and system operations.

Musk made the following statements in his statement:

"Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops."
