President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to Kahramanmaras which is theb epicenter of the earthquake on February 6.

Erdogan to Kahramanmaras by plane from Esenboga Airport, will conduct inspections in places affected by earthquakes and coordinate the work on site.

Erdogan is expected to stop by the tent city during his visit to Kahramanmaras city center and then go to Pazarcık.

President Erdogan is scheduled to conduct an investigation in Hatay later on.

LATEST SITUATION IN EARTHQUAKE

Search and rescue efforts continue on the third day of earthquakes in Kahramanmaras. According to the latest statements, 7,108 people lost their lives and 40,910 people were injured in the earthquake that caused great destruction in Türkiye. President Erdogan announced that a 3-month state of emergency was declared in 10 provinces hit by the earthquake, and the holiday period for schools was extended.
