Search and rescue efforts continue on the 9th day of the earthquake

After the two deadly earthquakes in Türkiye, the total number of deaths in Türkiye and Syria exceeded 37,000, and search and rescue efforts are still continuing.

While Turkish authorities said that 31,974 people died in Türkiye on the 9th day of the earthquake, UN officials stated that this figure was more than 5,800 in Syria.

Hopes of finding more survivors are fading as search and rescue efforts continue. Operations inevitably slow down.
