23 truck aid from Russia to Türkiye

23 trucks of aid were brought to Adiyaman, which was affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaras on February 6, at the call of Duma Deputy Rizvan Kurbanov, the lower wing of the Russian Parliament.

Kurbanov went to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg cities called for help.

TRUCKS REACHED ADIYAMAN

With the call and support of the deputy, 23 trucks of aid material reached Adiyaman.

Rizvan Kurbanov, who came to the city accompanying the aid trucks, told Anadolu (AA) that the disaster in Türkiye shook the world.

Explaining that there was a great shock in Russia after the earthquakes, Kurbanov said, "We collected aid for Türkiye's needs. This aid is entirely on behalf of Russian citizens. The Dagestan Fund launched the 'Chistoye Serdtse' (Clean Heart) campaign. We made this call both from the Republic of Dagestan. and many people from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg. We delivered this aid to Adiyaman. There are 23 trucks of food, tents and everything else needed." 

'ALL COUNTRIES SHOULD HELP TURKIYE TOGETHER'

Stating that they are in consultation with Türkiye, Kurbanov said, "The Turkish side has always helped everyone, has always supported the solution of the problems of all countries. Therefore, today all countries should unite and help Türkiye. Once again, we convey our sincere condolences to the Turkish people and the Turkish government. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
