The clashes that started on April 15 between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue in Sudan. Rapid Support Forces announced on its social media account that the vehicle of Türkiye's Ambassador to Sudan Ismail Cobanoglu was fired upon.
In a statement, the RSF blamed the Sudanese army, but diplomatic sources said it was not known who opened fire. While material damage occurred to the vehicle after the attack, it was stated that there were no casualties or injuries. Investigations are ongoing.
