Voting continues for Turkish citizens in Azerbaijan

Voting for Turkish citizens living in Azerbaijan for the Presidential and General Elections to be held in Türkiye on May 14 continues in a total of 15 ballot boxes established in the Turkish Embassy in Baku, Nakhchivan and Ganja Consulates General.

There was an increase in the number of Turkish citizens who participated in the voting process in Azerbaijan, which started on May 5 and will end at 09:00 pm on Sunday, compared to the previous elections. In Azerbaijan, where there are more than 11 thousand registered voters, the number of Turkish citizens who have voted so far has been announced as 5 thousand.

11,043 REGISTERED VOTERS IN AZERBAIJAN 

There are 11,043 registered voters in total, 7,417 in the Baku Embassy, 2,277 in the Ganja Consulate and 1,349 in the Nakhchivan Consulate.

The voting process, which started in Azerbaijan on May 5, will end today at 09:00 pm local time. In Azerbaijan, after the voting process is completed, the ballot papers will be kept in a sealed room and sent to Türkiye on 8 May.
