Turkish voters in France go to the polls for the runoff

Turkish citizens living in France queued up to vote in the second round of the presidential election to be held in Türkiye on May 28, forming a long queue in front of the Consulate General in Paris.

The voting process for the runoff of the presidential election, which started today in Türkiye's foreign missions and customs gates, continues. 

Turkish voters in France started to go to the ballot boxes established in 9 points as of 08:00 am local time. 

Voters who came to vote at the Consulate General of Türkiye in Paris formed a queue hundreds of meters long. 

In the first round of the election, 10 ballot boxes were set up on weekdays and 15 on the weekend, while this number was increased to 30 in the runoff.

The voting process, which started today in France, will end on May 21 in Clermont-Ferrand in the Lyon Consulate General region and Orleans in the Paris Consulate General region, and on May 24 in other points.
