Turkish voters in Belgium go to the polls for the runoff

Turkish citizens queued up in front of Trixxo Arena in Hasselt, Belgium to vote in the runoff of the presidential election to be held in Türkiye on May 28.

Turkish citizens living in Belgium went to the polls in the capital Brussels, Antwerp and Hasselt to vote in the runoff of the presidential election. There were 14 ballot boxes each in the capital Brussels and Antwerp.

In the city of Hasselt, where 5 ballot boxes were set up in the first round and there was intense interest in the election, 7 ballot boxes were set up this time. 

Voters lined up to vote at the ballot boxes set up at the Trixxo Arena in Hasselt, again forming long queues.

The voting process that started today in Hasselt will end at 09:00 pm tomorrow. In Brussels and Antwerp, voting will be possible between 08:00 am to 10:00 pm for 5 days until May 24.
