They rode their horses to vote

As citizens rushed to the polling stations from the early hours of the morning for the runoff of the Presidential Election, colorful images emerged in Izmir.

Faruk Ceren, an equestrian coach, rode a horse to the school where he was going to vote, and his friend Cihan Saha accompanied him on the horse.

Ceren and Saha, who went to the school with their horses named 'Caramel' and 'Kara İnci', went to the ballot box where they would vote.

'WE WANTED TO RAISE AWARENESS ON HORSE LOVE'

Stating that they went to the polls on horseback to draw attention to the love for horses, equestrian trainer Faruk Ceren said, "My aim is to raise awareness for the love of horses both as an equestrian trainer and as an animal lover. I hope the election will be auspicious for everyone." Cihan Saha, on the other hand, gave the message "A Turk on a horse is a Turk, if he is not a Turk, he is a burden".
