According to the news of the UAE news agency WAM, at the call of Cevahir bint Mohammed al-Qasimi, the wife of the Emir of Sharjah, Sultan bin Mohammed al-Qasimi, all television channels and platforms affiliated with Sharjah TV broadcast in the country for earthquake victims in Türkiye and Syria. A three-hour aid campaign was organized.

A donation of 15 million 649 thousand 140 dirhams (4.2 million dollars) was collected in the aid campaign, which attracted great interest from the people of the UAE.

EARTHQUAKE AID FROM UAE TO TURKİYE

Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on the orders of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who called President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on February 6, when the earthquake occurred, to express his condolences and support. Tons of humanitarian aid was brought to Türkiye within the scope of the joint operation launched by the Foundation and the UAE Red Crescent on the same day.

President of the UAE, Al Nahyan, announced on February 7 that 50 million dollars (approximately 942 million Turkish lira) in cash aid would be provided to Türkiye due to the earthquake.

The UAE also offered a 54-bed field hospital, 4 of which is intensive care, in the İslahiye district of Gaziantep, to the service of those affected by the earthquake.
