3 people died in the bomb attack on the Governor's Office in Afghanistan

A bomb attack was carried out on the governor's office in Balkh province in northern Afghanistan.

It was reported that Balkh Governor Mohammad Dawood Muzamil and 2 people lost their lives in the attack.

EXPLANATION IN THE GOVERNOR'S SPEAKER

Balkh police spokesman Asif Waziri said in a statement, "An explosion occurred on the second floor of the governor's office at around 9 a.m. today. Governor Muzamil and 2 civilians lost their lives."

Waziri stated that an investigation has been launched into the attack and will provide more details as the situation becomes clear.

Local security sources said that 5 people were injured and taken to the hospital. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
