United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres published a video message on his social media account for the month of Ramadan. In his message, Guterres congratulated Muslims on the blessed month.
'LET'S GET INSPIRED FROM THE MONTH OF RAMADAN'
Emphasizing a more just and equitable world, Guterres said:
"I am with everyone who celebrates Ramadan to call for peace, mutual respect and solidarity. Let's be inspired by this holy month. Let's build a more just and equitable world for all." Guterres concluded his message with the phrase "Happy Ramadan"
The UN Secretary General also wrote about the month of Ramadan:
"As Muslims around the world begin the holy month of Ramadan, I send my sincere wishes. It's time to come together in a spirit of understanding and compassion."
