The US was faced with a natural disaster again. A tornado broke out in the state of Mississippi in the southeast of the country and caused a disaster. Power lines and trees fell due to the tornado, leaving thousands of people without power.
Many homes and buildings were damaged. Authorities said at least 23 people lost their lives. Eight of the deaths were recorded in Sharkey County and three in Humphreys County. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves said in a statement on his social media account that search and rescue teams continue to work.
