Air pollution brought on by extensive agricultural burning and forest fires has become a major problem in Thailand and surrounding countries.
Pollution covered Thailand's capital, Bangkok, causing dangerous levels of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and harming 1.32 million people nationwide.
The governments of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos want to work together to address transnational pollution as toxic dust levels rise above safe levels to breathe.
