'If the attacks continue, forces from other regions will enter Khartum'

Clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue in Sudan. Sudanese Army Commander General Abdulfettah al-Burhan made statements regarding the clashes.

Stating that if the attacks continue, they will bring forces from different regions to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, Burhan said, "The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacked my house at 09:00 in the morning. It also harassed the army in the Spor city area to the south of Khartoum. All strategic facilities such as the Army Headquarters and the Presidential Palace were destroyed. Controls are in the army. We have military bases that we have not yet activated and tactics that we have not implemented. We still listen to the voice of reason and demand the return of the RSF forces that entered Khartoum. If the attacks continue, we will bring forces from different regions to Khartoum. Nobody prefers war, but what happened is a lesson to people let it be."

It was announced that a total of 56 people lost their lives in the clashes.

CHAD CLOSED ITS BORDERS TO SUDAN

While calls from all over the world to stop the violence, Chad closed its borders with Sudan for security reasons. There was no information on when the border will open.
