Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the leading figure in Thailand's upcoming elections, gave birth to a baby boy two weeks before voters go to the polls.
Paetongtarn, the youngest daughter of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, posted a photo of her baby named Thasin Prutthasin Sooksawas on social media.
According to the news in The Guardian, Paetongtarn, who recently stopped traveling for the campaign, was attending the rallies of his party Pheu Thai via video call.
Paetongrarn said he will speak to the press when he is strong enough in a few days.
