Evacuations from the country continue as the internal conflicts in Sudan continue. Thousands of people continue to leave their homes because of the conflicts.

In the report published by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), it was reported that 334 thousand 53 people, or 66 thousand 811 families, have been displaced since the beginning of the conflict in the country on April 15.

In the report, which stated that people left their places in 14 of the country's 18 states, it was stated that more than 64 thousand people had migrated to neighboring countries so far.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On April 15, clashes broke out in Sudan between the army led by the President of the Sovereignty Council, General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by the council's vice president, General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo.

Al-Burhan states that the RSF, which was established to fight the rebels, should join the army in order to prevent it from acting as an independent force, while Dagalo argues that this should be done with a civilian administration.

In the latest statement made in the conflict in Sudan, the loss of life reached 528 and the number of injured reached 4,599.
