'Aaron' that helped search efforts in earthquake dies

The dog named 'Aaron', who was part of the search and rescue team sent by Colombia to Türkiye after the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras on February 6, has died.

In a post made by the Colombian Red Cross on Twitter, it was announced that the dog named "Aaron", who supported various search and rescue efforts in the earthquake that occurred in Türkiye on February 6, lost his life, reported Ihlas News Agency.

In a statement released by the Turkish Embassy in Bogota, the Turkish Embassy said, "It is with great sadness that we learned that our Colombian friend Aaron, who took part in search and rescue efforts after the earthquake disaster in our country, lost his life. The Turkish people will not forget the solidarity shown by their Colombian friends and Aaron's courage.

Ambassador of Türkiye to Bogota Beste Pehlivan Su shared a photo of herself with Aaron and said, "Rest in peace."
