Emergency landing plane's landing gear breaks off in Luxembourg

The landing gear of a cargo plane that had to make an emergency landing in Luxembourg due to a technical malfunction broke off.

In Luxembourg, A Boing 747 type cargo plane belonging to Cargolux, which had to make an emergency landing due to a malfunction in its left engine, broke one of its landing gear while landing at Luxembourg Airport. 

While the plane passed the runway after the landing gear broke off in the first attempt, it could barely land on the runway in the second landing attempt. No one was killed or injured in the near-disaster accident.

In the statement made by Cargolux, it was stated that "The Boing 747 type cargo plane flying Dubai-Luxembourg flight was landed on the runway by the pilots in accordance with the emergency landing procedure due to technical problems in the air" and that an investigation was initiated on the aircraft regarding the accident.
