Palestinian flag raisers face imprisonment

The Israeli government, which knows no limits in its oppression and intimidation policies against Palestinians, is preparing to sign another scandalous decision. The Israeli Parliament is preparing to approve a new bill to impose a prison sentence of up to one year for those who unfurl the Palestinian flag. The bill, supported by members of the Jewish Power Party, states that three or more people waving the flag of a 'hostile entity' will be considered a 'forbidden assembly' and therefore punishable.

SCANDALOUS DECISION APPROVED 

Israel's parliament, the Knesset, has given its preliminary approval to this scandalous bill, which proposes "imprisonment for the Palestinian flag". The bill needs "three more votes" to pass. "The State of Israel allows its citizens to protest against decisions with which they disagree with the authorities. However, the bill draws a red line between legitimate protest and protest with the flags of those who do not recognize the state of Israel, are not friendly to it, or do not allow Israel to fly its flag on its territory," the statement said.

INSTRUCTION GIVEN

Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir said on Twitter in January, "Today, I instructed the Israeli police to ban from public space any PLO flag that shows identification with a terrorist organization and to stop any incitement against the State of Israel."
