Mortar explosion kills 22 in Somalia

Mortars exploded near the town of Qoryoley, south of Somalia's capital Mogadishu. 

According to the statement made by local officials, 22 people lost their lives as a result of the explosion, Ihlas News Agency reported.

It was stated that most of the people who lost their lives were children and that there were still unexploded mortars and that the government was asked for support to destroy the mortars.
