Instagram influencer Remi Lucidi dies after falling from the 68th floor
Remi Lucidi, an influencer of extreme sports, fell to his death from the 68th floor of a residential building in Hong Kong. Lucidi, who died at the scene, had told security guards that he was going to visit his friend on the 40th floor.
Frenchman Remi Lucidi, an Instagram phenomenon known for extreme sports, died after falling from the 68th floor of a residential building in Hong Kong.
According to the South China Morning Post, the 30-year-old phenomenon was climbing the Trengunter Tower complex. Lucidi, known as Remi Enigma on Instagram, died at the scene.
HE SAID HE WAS MEETING HIS FRIEND
According to Hong Kong authorities, Lucidi arrived at the building around 6:00 pm. He told the security guard that he was going to visit a friend on the 40th floor.
A security guard tried but failed to arrest Lucidi after confirming that Lucidi was not meeting his supposed friend.
Security footage recorded Lucidi arriving on the 49th floor and then using the stairs to get to the top of the building.
TRAPPED IN THE PENTHOUSE
Police said the influencer was last seen alive at 7:38 pm by a maid on the rooftop of the complex. The maid attempted to report it to the police.
An unidentified source said Lucidi was trapped outside the penthouse and was banging on the window for help before the accident.
Lucidi died after falling from the 68th floor.
