Search and rescue operations continue for 25 people missing in the landslide that killed 11 people in the Georgian town of Shovi.

Heavy rains caused landslides in the mountainous resort town of Shovi in Georgia's Racha region. In a statement made by the Georgian Interior Ministry, it was stated that at least 11 people lost their lives and 25 people were missing after the disaster.

Authorities announced that 2 bridges in the region collapsed and roads were covered with mud, while Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Irakli Karseladze stated that helicopters were deployed to evacuate more than 200 people in Racha, where villages were buried under mud, and a total of 400 people were continuing search and rescue operations, with an additional 150 people sent to the region to participate in rescue operations
