Israeli forces attacked those who came to theAl-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers. Thousands of Palestinians and foreign Muslims flocked to Al-Aqsa Mosque as they do every week to perform Friday prayers.
At the Al-Asbat Gate, one of the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque, a large number of Israeli police officers started to check the identity of those entering the holy sanctuary. According to the statement made by the Palestinian Red Crescent, Israeli policemen attacked a person and chaos broke out.
One person's leg was broken as a result of the intervention of Israeli forces with gas bombs. It was noted that the injured person was transferred to the hospital for treatment. In the images shared on social media, it was seen that a person's head was bleeding as a result of the blow he received.
Palestinian media reported that Israeli police officers detained one person during the incidents.
