Saudi Arabia's Border Guards have evacuated a Turkish female sailor who suffered a head injury on a ship in the Red Sea for treatment, Saudi Arabia's official news agency SPA reported.
According to SPA, Colonel Misfir al-Qurayni, the official spokesperson of the Border Guards, announced that the Jeddah Maritime Rescue and Coordination Centre (JMRCC) received a call for urgent medical assistance after a Turkish citizen sailor on board a ship in the Red Sea reported a head injury.
Kureyni stated that the location of the ship in the Red Sea was determined upon the call and the injured sailor was evacuated from the ship by the teams. He emphasized that the Turkish citizen woman sailor, who was injured in the head, was taken to Yenbu State Hospital for treatment and noted that the patient's health condition was stable.
Qurayni did not share information about the identity of the sailor and the incident of head injury.
