King Charles III of England wrote a letter to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, congratulating him on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Türkiye.
"As you and Turks around the world celebrate Türkiye's centenary, I and my wife send you our best wishes," King Charles noted in a letter to Erdogan.
Stating that he fondly remembers the hospitality he encountered during his visit to Türkiye in 2015.
"I would also like to express my deep admiration for the resilience of the people of Türkiye in their ongoing reconstruction efforts following the devastating earthquakes in February this year," King Charles noted.
In his letter, in which he wished the partnership and friendship between the United Kingdom(UK) and Türkiye to continue, King Charles stated the following.
"I am confident that this positive relationship will continue and grow stronger and stronger. As you and Turks around the world celebrate Türkiye's centenary, I and my wife send you our best wishes," King Charles emphasized.
