Selami Kilic, Director General of Foreign Relations and European Union Affairs at the Ministry of Health, announced that Türkiye will establish two field hospitals in the region as part of its aid for the wounded in Gaza. A field hospital is being built in Sheikh Zuweid, the closest settlement to Egypt's Rafah border crossing, for the wounded who are likely to come from Gaza.

'ONLY TÜRKİYE'S AID TEAMS IN THE REGION'

Salih Mutlu Sen, Türkiye's Ambassador to Cairo, stated that they had a meeting with the officials of the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

Kilic said that the demands of the World Health Organization, other international organizations, and other countries have not yet been met, so only Türkiye's teams are delivering aid to the region.

"They showed a common will for Türkiye and Egypt to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza, especially children, the sick, the wounded, including cancer patients, shoulder to shoulder. There is full harmony, cooperation, and solidarity between us and Egypt on this issue," Sen emphasized.

Ambassador Sen said that they expect the transfer of the patients to Egypt and the supply of medicines and medical supplies to be realized as soon as possible, adding that Türkiye is mobilized with all its assets and power, and that aid is being sent in cooperation with Egypt in all areas of need.

Selami Kilic, General Director of Foreign Relations and European Union of the Ministry of Health, said that Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca contacted all international organizations, especially the World Health Organization, in order to deliver aid to Gaza, and that they came to the airport close to the region with the cooperation of Egypt.

Explaining that Türkiye's aid was able to enter El Arish Airport due to the close cooperation of Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca with the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

"We are here now as a team due to the cooperation and coordination decision of our Minister and the Egyptian Minister of Health," Kilic emphasized.

Eray Cinar, Director General of Emergency Health Services of the Ministry of Health, said that they from Türkiye came to the region with a team of 20 specialists, especially surgical branch physicians who specialized in injuries.

WHAT HAPPENED

It was reported that 1400 Israelis, including 306 soldiers, were killed and 5 thousand 132 Israelis were wounded in the attacks from Gaza.

The Israeli army hit Damascus and Aleppo airports. As the Middle East is once again turning into a bloodbath, a deadline has been set for nearly 2 and a half million Palestinians to leave the blockaded Gaza.

In the occupied West Bank, 106 Palestinians were killed in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers.

In Israel's attacks on Gaza, 35 journalists were killed.

In the clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8, 46 Hezbollah members and 4 civilians, one of whom was a journalist, were killed. Three Israeli soldiers and one Israeli civilian were killed in the attacks organized by Lebanon.

Most recently, Israel attacked the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, killing civilians.
