Stefan Fule asks Macedonia to go on progressing

For the fifth time in row, the European Commission's 2013 progress report published on Wednesda included positive remarks about Macedonia. Despite positive remarks, Stefan Fule, Enlargement Commissioner for EU warned Macedonia off doing more than just expressing satisfaction with the positive reports. Fule also said that he expected Macedonian officials to “study carefully” on solving their dispute with Greece about the official name of the country, the main obstacle for further progress. Macedonia is the first Balkan country to sign a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU, which obtained candidate status in 2005.
