Australian Grand Prix: Formula 1 fever takes over

Round 3 of Formula 1 2024 season will be held in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday.

The 2024 Australian Grand Prix will be held over 58 laps at the 5.278-kilometer (3.27-mile) Albert Park Circuit.

Melbourne's Albert Park has hosted the Australian Grand Prix since 1996. The race was previously held in Adelaide. The 2020 and 2021 Australian Grands Prix were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sunday's race will start at 4 a.m. GMT.

Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the season's first two rounds in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia earlier in March.
